Objectives
After completing their coursework and clinical rotations, students will be able to:
Develop their therapeutic communication skills by conducting a mental status examination and obtaining a client's history.
Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and their families both within the hospital and out in the community.
Collaborate and plan with the multidisciplinary team in the hospital and in the community to promote mental health.
